The overall purpose of this job is to perform entry level professional duties of moderate difficulty providing the opportunity for professional training in various areas. The primary responsibilities of this job include learning actual practical application of concepts and theory in area of study. Most duties will focus on project related work and entry level tasks the support the basics of a professional field of study. Assignments serve to offer practical experience and broad exposure to the company’s organizational structure and culture. Supports and lives out Immanuel’s Mission and CHRIST Promises.

Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Job


  • Perform assigned duties to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures and standards required for successful performance.
  • May perform duties such as gathering and organizing data to provide information for departmental special projects or reports; basic arithmetic computations, assist in preparing written reports, accompany and assisting managers or directors on assignments or projects.
  • Utilizes current company-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments. Specific activities vary by assignment.
  • Conducts work in conjunction with a project or an assignment under a manager or director level employee. Provides information and communication to managers and directors.
  • Answers and makes phone calls, responds to program related questions and sends written material as appropriate.
  • Composes, types and prints reports, general letters, spreadsheets, e-mail, and memoranda from rough drafts or general instructions, involving the assembly of data from computer and paper file or record sources.

Sales & Marketing

  • Supports the Sales team by entering information into data management system and assists with maintenance of the sales database.
  • Generates weekly and monthly sales activity reports including lead and prospect tracking.
  • Assists in the planning and execution of events held in the community such as breakfast and lunch socials for prospective Residents.
  • Assembles marketing packets and may assists with personalized communication pieces to prospective Residents and family.
  • May assist with guided tours of community to prospective Residents and family.


  • Performs other duties as assigned or requested.



  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Obtained at least a sophomore status in a Bachelor degree program with completion of a minimum of 24 semester credit hours; or be enrolled in a Graduate degree program. Majors are based on the specific needs of department such as: Marketing, Public Relations, Communication, Public Administration, Community Development or related field.
  • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university.

Other Requirements –

  • Ability to pass all new hire requirements.

KSA- Knowledge Skills and Abilities-

  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of concepts and learning in designated field of study.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook and the ability to learn and use various software programs.
  • Skills in effective and professional verbal and written communication.
  • Skills in operating software, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Skills in data entry and attention to detail.
