The overall purpose of this job is to plan, organize and implement clinical social work and mental health services to Immanuel Pathways participants and families. Responsibilities include but are not limited: Complete initial assessments for psychotherapy needs, provide psychotherapy services to participants, and provide education to participants, families, caregivers as well as staff. Interventions include carrying a caseload of participants who engage in psychotherapy, lead psychotherapy and/or coping skills groups for participants, provide supervision and consultation services to PCMSWs, PLMHPs, BSWs, and practicum students, provide psychoeducation to participants and families regarding mental health issues, provide psychoeducation and support to staff members regarding mental health issues, self-care and overall coping skills, and collaborate with clinical staff and contracted psychiatry providers regarding medication management. The clinical social worker acts as an advocate for participants regarding mental health concerns and collaborates with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), family members and contracted providers as indicated.
