Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part time Food Service Associate to work approximately 20 hours/week at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323.  Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. Must be available to work shifts between 7:00am and 7:00pm, including nights and weekends to be considered for this position. Minimum age of 18 required to be considered for this position.

 

This position will pay up to $17.42/hour (straight pay/no tips).  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria

 

Skills & Requirements

One (1) year dining room serving experience is required.

Minimum 18 years of age required.
