Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full Time Executive Chef II to work at Lakeside, located at 17475 Frances Street, Omaha, NE 68130.  Lakeside has been voted “Best of Omaha” in the senior living category for 15 years. It has 89 independent, 49 assisted living and 12 memory support apartment homes along with 18 lofts. The schedule for this position would typically be Monday through Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm (including holidays), but would also need to be available to cover any vacancies, as needed.

 

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

As the Executive Chef it is your duty to prepare food to the satisfaction of residents and create an exceptionally satisfying dining experience for residents. The responsibilities of this job include planning and preparing daily meals, budgeting, and overseeing the hiring, training, and recruiting of kitchen and dining room staff. 

 

Skills & Requirements

Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts or trade/ vocational school degree in Culinary Arts is required.

Three (3) years of experience as a chef is required, with executive chef experience preferred.
One (1) year of managerial experience is required.
