Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full time Floating Sous Chef for the Des Moines metro area, to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323 and Copper Shores Village, located at 1500 Edgewater Drive, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327. 

This position will pay up to $25.00/hour.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, may be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services is not available. 

Skills & Requirements

Two (2) years of culinary experience is required
