Immanuel Communities is seeking a Maintenance Assistant II to work at Deerfield located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323.  Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites.

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The overall purpose of this job is to complete interior and exterior carpentry work and maintain utilities for the facility. The responsibilities of this job include plumbing, and electrical functionality, record keeping, hanging dry wall, and clearing snow from walkways, along with a variety of other maintenance items.

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

Two (2) years of facilities maintenance experience is required.

Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
