Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full time Floating Sous Chef to work at The Landing, located at 3500 Faulkner Drive, Lincoln, NE 68516.  The Landing has 90 independent living, 34 assisted living and 14 memory support apartment homes. Schedule will be 11:00am-7:00pm most days, but will work 6:00am-2:00pm on major holidays and every other Sunday. Will have every other weekend off. (Week 1: off Tuesday and Saturday; week 2: off Sunday and Thursday).

This position will pay up to $25.00/hour.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Addtionally may be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services is not available. 

Skills & Requirements

Two (2) years of culinary experience is required
