Immanuel Communities is seeking a compassionate and reliable PRN Driver to join our team at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House offers 24 skilled nursing and rehabilitation suites along with 72 long-term care suites, providing a warm and caring environment for our residents.

• Competitive pay up to $18.31/hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and education
• On-Call to assist driving Monday through Friday hours, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What You Will Do

Schedule and transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities. The responsibilities of this job include safely operating a motor vehicle, scheduling routes, maintaining vehicles, carrying luggage, and assisting residents boarding and exiting vehicles.

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

Acceptable Driving Record

Must be 21 years of age.

Valid Driver’s license is required. 

In Iowa, Chaueffer's license will be required prior to hire.

CDL certificate may be required depending on location.
CNA certificate may be required depending on location.
Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
Hiring is contingent on successfully passing a DOT Medial Exam and obtaining DOT Medial Examiner’s Certificate.
