We are seeking motivated and adaptable Night House Supervisors to join Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. In this role, you will oversee overnight operations, ensuring safety, security, and smooth shift transitions across our 24 skilled nursing and rehabilitation suites, as well as 72 long-term care units. Schedule Options:

  • Traditional 12-hour shift: 6 pm to 6 am, covering Fridays through Mondays
  • Full-time overnight shift: 10 pm to 6 am (may be combined with other shifts or standalone)
  • Part-time evening shift (optional): 6 pm to 10 pm, which can be paired with a 10 pm to 6 am shift if staffing allows
  • Split shifts: Two staff members can split the shift into:
    • 6 pm to 12 am (midnight)
    • 12 am to 6 am

Note: Schedules are subject to change based on staffing needs.

 

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

This position contributes to the Mission and Vision of Immanuel by serving as a designated functional lead with oversight of the day to day activities of their operations and team members.  Provides management support to plan, organize and lead resources with assigned team members; as well as functioning as an individual contributor within the department. Participates in operationalizing Immanuel strategic initiatives and priorities.  Serves as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles.

 

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred; professional nursing school graduate required.

Current License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the respective state in which he/she is employed is required.

Three (3) years of nursing or related experience is required.

Must successfully complete occupational health requirements of the position.
