Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Food Service Associate to work at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 36 skilled nursing and long-term care suites, and is part of the Lakeside senior community campus. This position will be scheduled 5 days a week from 10:30am-7:00pm. Weekends and some holidays will be required. Minimum age of 18 years old required for this role. Some experience working in a healthcare setting involving altered diets is preferred.  

This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips).  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
