Immanuel Communities is seeking a Floating Sous Chef to work at Immanuel senior communities in the Omaha, NE area, and based out of Immanuel Home Office, located at 1044 North 115th Street, Omaha, NE 68154. The schedule for this positon will vary, based upon the needs of the community, but will usually be either 6:00am-2:30pm or 10:30am-7:30pm, to include weekends and holidays. This position requires 2 or more years of experience working as a cook or above in a healthcare or restaurant setting above the level of fast food or fast casual.
This position will pay up to $25.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do
The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Addtionally may be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services is not available.
Skills & Requirements
Two (2) years of culinary experience is required (health care cooking experience or restaurant setting above the level of fast food or fast casual).
Must be at least 19 years old.
