Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Line Cook to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323.  Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. The scheduled hours for this position is five days a week, 11:00am-7:30pm, to include weekends and holidays.

This position will pay up to $19.68/hour.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including but not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Addtionally assists in any duty as needed in the kitchen area

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

One (1) year of cooking experience above the level of fast food/fast casual is required.

Minimum age of 18 years old required.
