Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Lead Server to work at Deerfield, located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323.  Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites. This position will work various shifts with a possibility of 7:00am-2:30pm, 10:30am-7:30pm, 4:00pm -7:30pm, to include weekdays, weekends, and holidays, for a total of up to 40 hours/week. Must be at least 18 years old to be considered.

This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips).  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of this job include working independently as a lead within the dining room services during daytime shifts. Prepares tables for meals, refilling containers, clearing dishes, handling food safely, attending to residents’ needs, taking phone orders, and ensuring other servers are completing tasks in a timely and appropriate manner. Facilitates a pleasant dining experience for the residents and guests who dine at the community.

Skills & Requirements

One (1) year dining room serving experience (above the level of fast food) is required.

Minimum age of 18 years old required.
