Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate to work approximately 16 to 19 hours a week at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130.  The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites and is part of the Lakeside campus. Minimum age requirement of 18 years old. The schedule for this position varies, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and can work 5 days a week, to include 3:45p-7:00pm during the week, and weekends can vary: 7:00am-2:00pm, 10:30am-7:00pm or 3:45pm-7:00pm, depending on business needs. Some holidays will be required.

 

This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips).  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

 

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Must be 18 years of age or older.
For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
