Immanuel Communities is seeking a Receptionist to work at Deerfield located at 13731 Hickman Road, Urbandale, IA 50323. Deerfield has 122 independent living apartment homes, 32 independent living patio homes, 20 assisted living, 24 residential care apartment homes and 30 long-term care/skilled nursing suites.
The schedule of this position is every other weekend 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with closing weekday shifts from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and working rotating holidays.
Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
What You Will Do
The overall purpose of this job is to make a favorable first impression when welcoming visitors, residents, participants, staff, and family members to a facility. The responsibilities of this job include greeting persons upon entry of a facility, answering phones, providing customer service information, setting appointments, and open and forwarding mail.
Skills & Requirements
High School Diploma/GED is required.
Two (2) years of direct experience as a receptionist, customer service representative, or related position is required.
Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience requirement.
