Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full-time Food Service Associate to work approximately 40 hours a week at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130.  The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites and is part of the Lakeside campus. Minimum age requirement of 18 years old. The schedule for this position is 6:30am-2:00pm Monday through Friday, with some weekends and holidays required. 

This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips) plus a $1,000 Hiring Bonus (conditions apply)*.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.

Skills & Requirements

Previous food service experience is required, preferably in a health care setting as a dietary aide/food service associated. Experience working in a long-term care setting with altered diets is preferred.

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or willing to obtain (Immanuel will pay for training).

Must be 18 years of age or older.
For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
