Transportation Supervisor – Pathways Omaha

Immanuel Pathways PACE® is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to join our Pathways Omaha team, located at 5755 Sorensen Parkway, Omaha, NE 68152. In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated team of drivers who provide reliable, compassionate, door‑to‑door transportation services for elderly and vulnerable participants across the Omaha metro and surrounding counties.

 

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll balance people management, performance oversight, and community‑based decision‑making—ensuring participants receive safe, dignified transportation that supports independence and quality of life.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

The overall purpose of this job is responsible for the Immanuel Pathways transportation program, including transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other transportation as deemed necessary.  Hires, and trains staff in the transportation department.  Oversees procurement of vehicle and repairs and preventative maintenance of vehicles.

 

Skills & Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.

Three (3) years of experience in the transportation industry required.

Two (2) years of administrative/supervisory experience in a transportation setting is required.

One (1) year of experience working with the frail or elderly population required.

Must have a valid Driver’s License in the respective state in which he/she is employed and a current CDL license or ability to obtain one within six (6) months from date of hire.

Must have an acceptable record from the respective state’s Motor Vehicle Department in which the individual’s license was issued.
