Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full Time Sous Chef to work at Yankee Hill Village located at 8401 South 33rd Street, Lincoln, NE 68516.  Yankee Hill Village has 47 independent living, 59 assisted living and 16 memory support apartment homes.

The schedule is 7a-3p Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday but may vary depending on needs of the community. 

This position will pay up to $25.00/hour.  Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. Additionally, may be assigned to oversee progress of kitchen staff abilities, kitchen projects or special events, certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen, inventory management and oversees the kitchen function when the Team Lead of Food & Nutrition Services is not available. 

Skills & Requirements

Two (2) years of cooking experience above the level of fast food or fast casual dining is required.

BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) or willing to obtain is required (Immanuel will pay for the training).

Minimum age of 19 years old is required.
