Immanuel Communities is seeking a Full Time Lead Cook to work at The Landing located at 3500 Faulkner Drive, Lincoln, NE 68516.  The Landing has 90 independent living, 24 assisted living and 14 memory support apartment homes.

We are looking for someone who can work a two week rotating schedule: 

Week 1: Monday-Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday 11am-7pm.

Week 2: Monday, Wednesday-Friday 11am-7pm and Sunday 6am-2pm. 

This position will pay up to $21.00/hour. Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.

What You Will Do

The Lead Cook is to ensure that high-quality food is prepared, apportioned, and presented in an appealing manner to residents. Additional responsibilities of this job include all types of food preparation, including yet not limited to baking, grilling, stove-top and oven cooking; and cleaning the kitchen. The incumbent may be assigned to oversee progress of cooks’ abilities, kitchen projects, or certain aspects of food preparation in the kitchen.

Skills & Requirements

Two (2) years of culinary experience is required.
